Hey there! I'm Atakan, a Designer from Turkey who's all about getting creative while loving keep things organized. My design journey kicked off in a pretty cool way - I was making YouTube videos and streaming on Twitch. I quickly realized I needed some sweet designs for my content, but hiring a designer was out of the question. So, I thought, "Why not give it a shot myself?"
I started off by making an Instagram fan page for my favorite club. I was whipping up graphics, game day posts, stories, and even jersey designs. Before I knew it, I landed some freelance gigs with a PR agency and my favorite football club back in my hometown, Adana.
I'm big on making designs that are systematic, consistent, and creative. It's all about finding that sweet spot between wild ideas and keeping things organized. By the way, as a Design system fan, I admit Design systems are really overrated. It's just an outcome of what we designed.
Early in my career, I worked as a freelance graphic and motion designer. I collaborated with a PR agency and a football club, creating Instagram stories and posts for game days, and designing social media content for the club’s official store.
My journey took a new turn when I met a YouTuber and began editing his videos, designing dynamic elements to enhance his content.
A few years back, I jumped into the world of Product Design. My first crack at UX design was pretty cool - I worked with some buddies at a startup to build a mobile app from scratch.
These days, I'm doing my thing at Param, where I'm in charge of the Design System. I'm all about making our apps easier to use and more consistent. My workmates even call me the "Designer for Designer" - it's cool, right?
I'm also working with producters to build a new app called Param Business (B2C). And contributing Param Next (API marketplace, B2B)
Oh, and I'm a total Webflow nerd. This website you're looking at was built it in Webflow with a bit of custom code..
